ive been golfing for a couple months and ive been using some old garage sale ones and now i want to buy my first set. im still learning but im pretty good for a beginnner. i went to a golf shop and the salesman directed me to a set of powerbilt dynasty golf clubs. its a 14 piece set. i found cheaper priced ones online but im not sure if i should get them or a different brand to start with. any suggestions? thanks guys!|||Almost every manufacturer has a set meant for beginners. Look for cavity backs and steel shafts. You should also get your swing speed tested to determine what kind of stiffness your shafts should be (most golf shops will do this for free.) I would go with Mizuno or if you want to spend a little bit more money, Ping Raptures.|||Get something easy to hit, if your just beginning I wouldn't suggest you spend a ton of money on an expensive set. Start with a set of AMF's of maybe a set of walter hagens. AMF golf clubs are great for beginner golfers.|||Assuming that you're a beginner, than I would suggest buying graphite, regular shafted golf clubs with a tad bigger head. They allow more "mistakes" in the swing and are much easy er to use. The down sidde is, that you can't hit a ball with them as far as with the steel shafted...
