What are some ways to get nice golf balls without paying?

Golf balls are too expensive... soooooo ive decided im going to take ones i find. or out of bags if i see someone being a snobby prick. What are the best ways to steal golf balls?|||DO NOT take golf balls out of someone's bag.





I haven't bought a ball in over 30 years. My parents used to live near a golf course and I used to find hundreds of balls that were hooked out of bounds across the street from a long par 3.





Just hang out near a golf course and find areas where players regularly hit balls out of bounds. If you can hike on the course evenings and look in the rough, so much the better.





Also, when you're playing and you hit your ball in the rough, take a few minutes and look for other balls...but don't hold up play.





Don't bother with range balls, unless you want to gather a bunch of them to use at the range.





One word of warning when looking for golf balls in the rough...beware of poison oak or ivy. I paid dearly years ago for a golf ball hunt!





I have so many good golf balls, I'll never have to buy one again.|||hang around the person at your local driving range that collects and cleans balls once they have been picked-up. People often times bring old or used balls or balls they have found to the range to use rather than buy a bag of range balls--then they get mixed with range balls. This person likely isn't a golfer and could probably use your money. Pay him/her $1 for 8-10 good balls. This saves you time and money.|||When you are golf hunting, look in the roughs and water hazards.


You will find a lot of balls there.


I wouldn't take them out of personal bags as that is theft amd you can get into a lot of trouble and even some jail time.|||I like the driving range idea as well.
