How do you typically watch golf in person?

Do you have to go at a certain time, or can you go later?

Do you pick a golfer to follow, and follow him around the golf course? Or do you rather pick a hole, and watch the different golfers play that hole?

I have never even set foot on a golf course before, so any information is appreciated.

How does all that stuff work?|||I get to the course very early so I may watch the pros on the driving range.I then get a pairings sheet so I may follow my favorites around. For example at last years Fed Ex Championship I walked 15 or 16 holes with Kenny Perry's group then waited and walked the rest of the tournament with Padraig Harrington's threesome.

Or you can find a comfortable place on the course and watch all of the groups play through.I prefer walking for the exercise and to experience what the pros go through.

Hope you enjoy yourself.|||I typically start by watching groups go off on the first tee. Then when a golfer I really like starts I'll follow their group and finish by hanging out at the 18th green and watch the rest of the field finish. Also off the 18th green you can get autographs if your so inclined.|||Why dont you do what you want to do.
